Each week will be a fresh new class

We break things down into simple, manageable movement exercises which are fun and functional.

Build movement skills

Each class is designed to help you move better over the weeks and will develop skills and techniques, practical for day to day living.

Gain Practical Techniques

A person practicing yoga indoors on a purple mat, in a downward-facing dog pose with hands and feet on the floor, head between the arms, in a room with a divider, couch, pillows, and a dresser.

Through guided exploration, you'll learn to appreciate your own body and its capabilities whilst challenging it to remain strong and flexible.

Learn New Approaches

With time, you’ll find, almost by magic, that you can move freer, feel stronger and understand the relationship you have with your body more. Developing mindful movement for every day tasks.

Develop Mindful Movement

Your Questions, Answered
  • Our monthly course is designed to develop and progress your practice making it a great way to enhance your live or streamed classes or simply as a stand alone means of exercise. Pilates practice should be at least 2-3 times a week to be truly effective.

  • These classes have been designed specifically to build on each other and to hold you accountable for your practice, hence the scheduling. I find that this way of doing things will get the very best for you. We all tend to choose our favourite videos from a library and sticking to those may omit movement patterns that are designed to challenge us. We might miss the movements our bodies actually need or strengthen ones which we have developed poor patterning in.

You know Pilates, it’s not always comfortable! and our bodies like to cheat.

  • Classes are totally fresh every week and over time we will introduce props and toys too but nothing you don’t already generally have to hand or can purchase cheaply. This makes life just that little bit more interesting and accessible wherever you are. Fitness should be fun not a chore.

  • No. They are not suitable for rehabilitation and some of the exercises will not suit everyone. Part of learning body movement is to make your own assessments as to what is good for your body and we always say if in doubt, leave it out. However, I strive to include exercises and variations that should be accessible to most people in general good health. If you have any medical issues it is your responsibility to check if these are suitable.

  • In simple terms this is because I can’t be there with you and keep an eye on everything you do and I don’t know your body and its quirks. We are responsible for our own bodies and actions, and this is also the ethos of my pilates practice and life. I am just a guide, you choose.
